Dillon Steadman of Sanders & Parks, P.C., representing a school district and a staffing agency, secured a defense verdict after a four-day jury trial. Plaintiff claimed he was battered during a physical altercation with his 8^th grade teacher and sought damages for minor physical injuries and long-term psychological injuries, including post-traumatic stress disorder. Plaintiff’s counsel asked the jury to award $250,000.
