Robin Burgess obtains unanimous defense verdict for physician

Sanders & Parks Owner, Robin Burgess, recently obtained a unanimous defense verdict for a client in case where Plaintiff alleged the doctor had left an instrument behind after robotic-assisted surgery to remove cancer. Although the condition was discovered shortly after the procedure, and the instrument removed, the patient claimed that he suffered economic loss and ongoing medical problems from the events. After almost two weeks of trial, the jury returned its verdict in 30 minutes, rejecting the patient’s claims in their entirety.
