Sanders & Parks Attorneys, Sparks and Miner, Prevail at Arizona Supreme Court

Sanders & Parks Owner Steve Sparks and Associate Vincent Miner recently prevailed at the Arizona Supreme Court on an issue that had never previously been decided by any Arizona court. Mr. Sparks and Mr. Miner, in tandem with national counsel, successfully argued to the Arizona Supreme Court that, consistent with statutory authority, an insurance company may not contest a life insurance policy more than 2 years after inception, even where the insurer contends that the insurance was procured in violation of public policy. This ruling resulted in millions of dollars of life insurance being paid to the client and shut down any further litigation contesting the validity of the life insurance policy.
